UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Java Developer to design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and services.

• Design, code, conduct code reviews, and perform testing of software as needed. Develop code, implement client, server, and web-based applications, web services, and unit testing. Lead participation in application architecture and design and other phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and implement a robust set of web services and APIs to power web applications.
• Develop various application components. Implement front-end components using Spring MVC. Lead the technical design of application components in concert with the CTO, DISO (Divisional Information Security Office), and team leads.
• Drive and ensure code quality, monitoring & observability, and support UT and SIT testing guidelines and procedures. Lead the adoption of innovative technologies such as Open AI to boost developer and QA productivity. Triage with global development teams and business stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
• Work hybrid: in-office/remote.

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field of study plus four (4) years of experience as a Java Developer or in a related occupation.

• Agile and Scrum methodology;

Salary: USD 145,000 per annum. 40 hours per week. Salary may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, education, and location. Discretionary incentive compensation may be available.
