Senior Product Engineer, Americas

About the Role

A Product Engineer responsible for owning a large portion of one of our products, working end‑to‑end from research to implementation.

• Research competitors, write product specs, create wireframes.
• Design and built automated interview scheduling that automates the "Calendar Tetris" problem, presenting available times to candidates in our responsive web app.
• Built a generalized declarative filter architecture that allows users to create complex filters for any record, with a consistent UI and SQL compilation on the backend.
• Specced, designed, and implemented a feature that allows users to complete signing offers entirely within Ashby, including customer research, prototype development, and integration with other features.

• Comfortable tackling any part of a technology stack and delivering on complex features across frontend and backend.
• Experience with product and technical ambiguity, delivering powerful abstractions and flexibility to solve broad classes of problems.
• Able to strike a balance between speed and quality; comfortable with rapid development without compromising product excellence.
• Ambitious, continuously learning, and open to feedback to level up independently.
• Excellent collaborator and communicator, able to vet decisions with stakeholders and keep teams aligned.
• Adept at creating leverage by automating or abstracting tedious work, improving workflows and tooling for teammates.

Compensation Range: $153K - $220K.
