This will be a contract to hire job, plan will be for the condidate to be hired shortly after the 6 month mark. The desired salary is in the mid to upeer 80K's after they completed the contract.
We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer with over 3 years of experience in Application Modernization to join our dynamic team. The position will play a critical role in the modernization of the Delivery Operations Information System (DOIS) for our client. The Web Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining user interfaces for the DOIS modernization project. The individual will focus on creating a seamless and responsive web experience, leveraging modern web technologies and AI tools such as Git Hub Copilot.

HOW A WEB DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks like Angular, React, or similar technologies.
Implement front-end solutions that are mobile responsive and compliant with Section 508 Accessibility standards.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design prototypes into interactive and functional web pages.
Utilize AI tools such as Git Hub Copilot to assist in code generation, refactoring, and optimization.
Ensure web applications are secure, performant, and scalable by following best practices and industry standards.
Integrate front-end components with back-end services via REST APIs and other data communication methods.
Conduct thorough testing of web applications to ensure cross-browser compatibility and device responsiveness.
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
Work closely with other developers, business analysts, and testers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality web solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end reporting solutions, leveraging full stack developer skills to integrate front-end visualization tools with back-end data processing and storage systems.

This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.50 - $35.50/hr.
