Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Platforms Job Raleigh area,North Carolina USA,Software Development

Description

You will support secure government cloud environments through bug fixes, enhancements, documentation development, and onboarding, while also contributing to new event‑driven mission services. You will develop user guides, API and Swagger documentation, and support onboarding of new users. Additionally, you will support research and development of new mission services with an event‑driven architecture.

Position Requirements

U.S. Citizenship (No exceptions; green card holders are not eligible)
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
BS or higher in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field
8+ years relevant work experience with BS
6+ years relevant work experience with MS
Good oral & written communication skills
Technical leadership experience
Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team & department performance
Willing to work on‑site 5 days a week at our Raleigh, NC location

Preferred Experience & Skills

Designing, developing, and deploying cloud‑native applications
Implementing and managing event‑driven architecture
Building secure software solutions with a focus on security best practices
Design and implementation of User Interfaces (UI/UX)
Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD)
Practical experience and proficiency in software development using the Scrum framework
Certified Scrum Master recognized by the Scrum Alliance
