Senior Oracle ETL Developer — Onsite Raleigh, EST

Job Overview

Our direct client has an opening for a Sr ETL (Oracle) Developer position # 758277. The position is for 12+ months with an option for extension, and is based full‑time on site in Raleigh, NC. Candidates must work EST business hours and be available for in‑person interviews in Raleigh.

Only candidates that currently live in Raleigh, NC area will be considered. NC Driver’s License Required as Proof Of Residency. In‑Person Interview in Raleigh, NC required on 1st Round. Candidate must come on‑site 1st day to pick up equipment and complete orientation. Candidate will work 100% on‑site.

• Provide business and systems analysis, modeling, design, and programming for Medicaid reports using Oracle, PL/SQL, BIRT, Power BI, and Azure Synapse.
• Develop and maintain Medicaid reports and analytics (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) and deliver data to CSDW and BIDP for federal and other reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with the internal business team, CMS, and agile teams for testing, source control, and code build/release activities.
• Mentor other report developers, establish standards across the reporting area, and ensure accuracy and correctness before delivery to stakeholders.
• Support the modernization effort by developing ETLs and dashboards for Medicaid and other programs using Power BI and Azure Synapse, and help move programs into cloud architecture.

• 7+ years of experience programming and designing large‑scale web‑based distributed systems (Oracle).
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle, Oracle Utilities, and ETL tools such as Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• 7+ years of experience with SQL scripting and relational database modeling.
• 7+ years of experience with structured system development methodologies.
• 7+ years of strong communication skills and ability to work with end users.
• 7+ years of strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL coding.
• Highly desired: 7+ years of knowledge of BI tools such as Business Objects or BIRT.
• Highly desired: 5+ years of data warehouse experience.
• Highly desired: previous experience working with State government.
