Urgent immediate need for a PHP & Word Press Developer to get the NC Museum of Natural Sciences website up and running. Candidates must be available for the engagement duration, with a small extension possible.
ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair the missing Word Press login PHP file, restoring admin and content management login functionality.
Diagnose and repair issues preventing live changes to static site portions.
Identify and fix problematic custom PHP code, outdated plugins, and legacy configurations contributing to instability.
Make minor updates to improve navigation and usability within the current structure.
Provide guidance on maintaining operability, including essential updates and monitoring.
Document repairs, temporary fixes, and recommendations for the NCMNS team.
- Extensive experience with PHP development.
- Experience with Word Press development.
- Experience reviewing existing code to diagnose and repair missing Word Press login PHP files.
- Experience restoring login functionality for administrative and content management access.
- Experience identifying problematic custom PHP code, outdated plugins, and legacy configurations and applying necessary fixes.
