NC State University in Raleigh seeks a Robotics Research Engineer for the AERIS Lab to translate research concepts into working hardware and software for real environments.
You will design, build, and test UAS platforms, develop ROS/ROS2 autonomy stacks, embed firmware, and deploy at sponsor sites, collaborating with students to turn algorithms into systems.
This 12-month appointment requires ROS, Python and C/C++, Linux, and a strong interest in field deployments and hardware integration.
