• Power Apps – Production experience required, not just form building. Candidates should have built applications that connect meaningfully to a data platform or enterprise system. Ask them to walk through an app they built, what it connected to, and how it's being used today.
• Microsoft Fabric – This person sits at the bridge between applications and the data platform. Fabric familiarity tells you they understand what's underneath the apps they're building. Candidates who only know Power Apps in isolation won't cut it here.
• Python / SQL – The data environment runs on Python and SQL. Candidates need enough depth in both to work with the data their applications are consuming. Surface level will not suffice when pulling from a production lakehouse.

Our client is modernizing its enterprise data and application infrastructure. As part of this initiative, the organization seeks an Azure Power Apps Engineer to serve as the bridge between business-facing applications and the modern data platform built on Microsoft Fabric.

This is not a form-building role. The engineer must understand both sides of the applications they build – the user-facing experience and the underlying data environment. They will design and develop Power Apps solutions that connect meaningfully to the data platform, enabling business users to access, interact with, and act on data in ways that drive real operational value.

The engineer will work closely with the Modern Data Platform team, integration engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure the applications are performant, scalable, and aligned with the broader data and AI strategy.

• Experience building Power Apps solutions that connect to enterprise data platforms – not just standalone applications
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into application solutions
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where the data platform is actively evolving
• Strong understanding of data flows between applications and backend systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (a plus)
• Ability to document solutions clearly for future maintainability

This is a permanent position based out of Raleigh, NC.

The pay range for this position is $ - $ per year.
