Location: Remote (ET) – quarterly visit to New York City for 1–2 day onsite.

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced software engineer with a background in building web apps and 3+ years of Python experience to help us build the next generation of computer‑use agents. Your role will focus on growing our app simulation pipeline for training and evaluating AI agents, contributing to the frontiers of AI agent research.

• Fluency in Python, managing data pipelines
• Experience with web development with a Python backend
• Interest/experience in AI, computer vision, and computer‑use agents
• Experience working in a research lab environment

• Scale our app simulation framework to train the next generation of computer‑use agents.
• Design and extend applications in our simulation framework in partnership with researchers at FAIR.
• Contribute to the infrastructure powering the next generation of AI agents.
• Bring expertise in engineering web‑based apps and a strong interest in AI systems.

• Develop the Open Apps research ecosystem in partnership with researchers at FAIR.

• Features/targets for expanding our computer‑use research environment.
