Software Developer​/Engineer

Position Overview

Join Pro Mach as a Software Developer/Engineer located in North Carolina. This role supports building reliable, scalable applications that support the growing business.

• Develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET and C#.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs, including authentication, data exchange, and integration with third‑party services.
• Optimize and maintain SQL database structures, queries, and stored procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.

• 2–4 years of hands‑on software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in .NET (Core or Framework) and C#.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases (SQL Server or similar).
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs.

• Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), including API gateways or serverless API endpoints.
• Experience with web‑based development.
• Experience with WPF, Win Forms, and MVVM architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals or industrial communication protocols.
