Data Engineer - Senior

Job Summary

We are seeking a mid‑level+ Data Engineer to focus on quality assurance, quality checking, and ETL processes. The successful candidate will ensure integrity and accuracy of data transferred from a shared file transfer service to an S3 bucket and subsequently into our Snowflake data platform. This data will be utilized by downstream applications and reporting systems, critical to business process execution.

• Implement and maintain data quality throughout the ETL process.
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows to transfer data from file transfer services to S3 buckets and Snowflake.
• Ensure seamless data integration into the data platform, enabling efficient consumption by downstream applications and reporting tools.
• Address data quality challenges, including inconsistencies that cause load failures or data backouts.
• Collaborate closely with business owners, data analysts, BI teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high‑quality data solutions.
• Monitor pipelines, identify issues, and implement solutions to preserve data flow and integrity.

• Mid‑level+ experience in data engineering, emphasis on data quality assurance and ETL processes.
• Expertise in Python, PyPI, and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles related to code development, Dev Ops, data access, and fundamental cybersecurity.
• Understanding of fundamental public‑cloud capabilities.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience delivering and operating in an agile setting.
