An Informatica Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Informatica tools. The role involves working closely with data functional teams to ensure efficient data integration, transformation, and delivery. Strong Unix/Linux scripting skills are required to support automation, scheduling, and batch processing activities.

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Informatica Power Center
- Create and maintain mappings, workflows, sessions, and transformations
- Develop data integration solutions to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources
- Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting of ETL processes
- Optimize ETL performance and implement tuning strategies
- Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for job automation, scheduling, and monitoring
- Work with SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects for data processing
- Support production deployments, issue resolution, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with standards
- Participate in SDLC phases: requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Informatica Power Center / Informatica Cloud (IICS) Strong knowledge of ETL development and data warehousing concepts
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.)
- Hands‑on experience with Unix/Linux and Shell scripting
- Experience in data modeling and database design
- Knowledge of workflow scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys)
- Understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Experience working with multiple data sources (XML, flat files, RDBMS)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience with version control and release management
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within teams
All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
