Software Engineer, Full Stack

Pendo's feature teams build the experiences that help customers understand their users, improve their products, and get more value from their software. We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong frontend focus to help build what’s next, working primarily in Vue, JavaScript, and Type Script and contributing across the stack. The role is based in our Raleigh office and involves AI powered product capabilities, including work with MCP and LLMs.

• Own well-scoped features from implementation through production and deliver them in small, independently shippable increments.
• Build across the frontend and backend with a strong lean toward Type Script and Vue.js to deliver polished customer experiences and supporting APIs.
• Develop MCP and AI powered capabilities, including work with LLMs and agentic workflows where they support meaningful product outcomes.
• Write maintainable, production ready code and apply testing strategies appropriate to the risk of changes; follow safe rollout and operation patterns.
• Use AI coding tools as a core part of your daily workflow, and participate in planning, reviews, and collaboration with teammates.

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer building and shipping production web applications.
• Experience building full-stack applications with backend services and APIs, and strong frontend experience using JavaScript or Type Script and a component-based framework such as Vue, React, or Angular.
• Daily use of AI tools as part of your software development workflow.
• Ability to independently deliver well-scoped features and break work into small, deliverable increments.
• Experience applying unit, integration, or end-to-end testing strategies appropriate to the risk and scope of a change.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including participation in planning, technical discussions, and code reviews;
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
