Job Description
Assess population served, teach classes, share relevant wellness information, and coordinate services with others on the wellness team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to help others achieve their fitness goals. Whether your expertise lies in group fitness, personal training, dance classes, or yoga classes, we welcome your unique skills to enhance our offerings
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assesses and monitors the physical condition of the population to be served.
2. Teaches classes and/or supervises and monitors exercise programs based on established protocol to ensure safety.
3. Disseminate educational materials to participants as appropriate.
4. Provides member service through interaction with members regularly
Typical Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or GED is the standard entry-level requirement. Earning a certification from a reputable organization demonstrates your knowledge and skills in fitness instruction

Positions in this class typically require Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Seeing, Pushing and Pulling, Lifting, Fingering, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing and Repetitive Motions. Subject to both environmental conditions:
Activities occur inside and outside.
Physical Requirements:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
