CDL Class B Route Driver

• Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle, transporting individual gas cylinders to other Airgas locations.
• Proficiency in English for communication, signs, and documentation.
• Strong verbal skills, self‑motivation, attention to detail, and goal‑orientation.
• Maintain accurate load manifests and documents.
• Foster strong customer relationships, provide cost and delivery information.
• Monitor and adjust cylinder levels to prevent emergencies.
• Analytical problem‑solving for customer inquiries.
• Safely load/unload, deliver, and retrieve cylinders and hard goods.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class B CDL.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain it within 60 days of being hired.
• Successful completion of Airgas background and motor vehicle check.
• DOT clearinghouse verification from previous employers required.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76–100+ lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
• Ability to maintain a drug‑free workplace.
• Adherence to safety regulations and policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience.
• Touch freight delivery experience.
