PT Bus Driver; Pool

Responsibilities

• Transport student‑athletes, coaches and staff to and from campus for practices and competitions; schedule must be flexible to include weekday afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• Check fluid levels on lot and road; top off as needed.
• Fuel coaches when out on the road.
• Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions to get passengers to destinations safely.
• Maintain bus cleanliness after each trip by ensuring all passengers remove their trash.
• Report any bus malfunctions or needed repairs.
• Report accidents or any traffic incidents and situations by text or phone.
• Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

• High School diploma, GED, or comparable certification.
• Commercial Driver's License (with P endorsement) required.
• Three years of experience driving buses and one year of over‑the‑road with coaches of similar nature, preferably at the college level.
• Successful history and record of safe and responsible driving.
• Up‑to‑date DOT Medical Card in compliance.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.

• CDL with P endorsement.

Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours/day. Some lifting (up to 25 pounds occasionally), bending, and carrying. Specific vision abilities include the ability to use close vision. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and to use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
