POSITION PURPOSEProcesses monthly EC Transportation vendor data for Safety and Compliance to ensure the accuracy of data as outlined in the vendor contracts. Assists with scheduling the annual vehicle inspections, mobile vehicle inspections, and vendor driver monthly random drug/alcohol testing. Performs vendor yearly vehicle inspections, submits and tracks Vendor driver applications. Compiles monthly office supply orders for EC Transportation and Customer Service staff and distributes office supplies upon receipt.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
- Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point;
Google Apps; - Excellent personal computer skills to include performing data entry;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Effective time management skills;
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Ability to complete complex tasks and minimize errors with attention to detail;
- Ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks with deadlines including all applicable departmental deadlines;
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form in English using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, external agencies, attorneys, parents, and the public.
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Three years of experience in a business field.

- Experience with compiling and analyzing data;
- Experience with the following systems:
Electronic Access to Student Information (EASI), Transportation Information Management System (TIMS), Online Access to Student Information System (OASIS), and Synovia; - Experience working in a public school transportation office.
- Compiles and analyzes monthly reports for vendor vehicle inspections, master vehicle, and driver lists.
- Performs monthly data entry of vehicle mileage.
- Schedules and assists with annual, re-inspections, and mileage increment inspections.
- Schedules and oversees completion of mobile vehicle inspections.
- Assists with vendor notification letter for the monthly random drug/alcohol driver test.
- Assists with submission and tracking of vendor driver applications while maintaining data in the master vendor driver list.
- Compiles the monthly supply orders for EC Transportation and Customer Service staff.
- Verifies receipt of invoiced supplies and distributes the supplies to staff.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, and copiers. The position, at times, must be able to come into direct contact with school system staff and staff members of external funding agencies, and the community. Work is considered light physical work, requiring the exertion of up to ten pounds of force.
