- Operate commercial vehicles safely and in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Transport and deliver goods to designated locations on schedule.
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and required documentation.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and route updates.
- Follow established safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, incidents, or traffic violations immediately.
- Verify load accuracy and inspect shipments before departure and delivery.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of assigned vehicle and equipment.
- Adhere to hours-of-service requirements and other DOT regulations.

- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards.
- Ability to read maps, follow routes, and use GPS/navigation systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Previous commercial driving experience.
- Experience operating specialized equipment or trailers.
- Forklift certification or warehouse experience.
