Bus Driver

St. David's School is seeking a
part-time bus drive
r with a flexible schedule to drive for school field trips and extra-curricular activities.

Under the direction of the Assistant Athletics Director, the bus driver must provide safe transportation to and from athletic/event sites while maintaining a supportive and positive atomosphere. May also provide support in other areas as assigned.

• Possess appropriate class license (CDL).
• Knowledge of the rules/guidelines related to vans and commercial passenger vehicles (bus) where applicable to ensure bus transportation provided is in complicance with the NCDOT regulations.
• Desire and ability to work with children.
• Track record of building relationships with staff, volunteers, and parents.

• Workas a team member with other staff.
• Communicate effectively with children, their parents, coaches and other St. David's School staff.
• Report any concerns to your supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding personal information on children and staff.
• Take direction from Director.

Job Type: Part-time, non-exempt.

Hours: 15-25 hours per week maximum

Potential candidates are required to pass a background test and drug screen prior to being hired.
