Logistics Coordinator

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating direct orders from stock and orders from suppliers, and maintaining an efficient organized warehouse operation.

The person in this position must be able to with limited guidance coordinate and expedite order fulfilment via collaboration between order entry, our warehouse personnel, and external suppliers. They must be able to receive items at the warehouse, relabel and organize stock items, maintain accuracy of inventory, and assist with the generation of various KPI and financial reports.

Additionally, the person in this position must have some exposure and knowledge of warehouse operations and/or Veolia processes and procedures. This position does require critical decision making and the ability to lead initiatives within their area of expertise.

• Onsite position at the Raleigh Warehouse.
• Typical schedule Monday thru Friday 8 am until 4:30 pm but subject to change.
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Assist in physical inventory count (cycle count) and reconcile inventory daily.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds with care, following company policies while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assist with order tracking and proactively resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Collaborate with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
• Respond to suppliers’ inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.
• Arrange shipping from supplier to customer when applicable.
• Monitor shipments and coordinate with customs, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare, review, and submit documents related to import and export activities.
• Generate reports regarding trends in inventory utilization.
• Compile, verify, and report periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in customer escalations related to inventory.
• Act as backup for the Warehouse Lead during vacations and absences.
• Act as backup for SD/SO Order Entry during vacations and absences.
• Physical requirements:
  
  standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
• Abide by all company safety and policy standards.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Desired Characteristics:

• SAP/LATIS/WMS/TMS/Order Entry experience a plus.
• 2 to 3 years industry‑related experience or a bachelor’s degree in lieu of experience.
