What You'll Do- Prepare bills of lading (BOLs), proforma invoices, and other shipping documents using SAP.
- Contact customers to obtain additional shipping information when needed.
- Process freight billing and code freight charges for payment.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify items against shipping records, and inspect for damage.
- File damage claims with carriers when required.
- Record received goods and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safely operate a stand‑up reach truck, stand‑up order picker, and sit‑down forklift in busy warehouse environments.
- Follow all safety procedures and support a safe, organized workplace while completing additional assigned duties.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience with shipping or receiving responsibilities in a Manufacturing environment.
- 1+ years of experience with the SAP system
- 3+ years' experience in shipping/receiving management
- 3+ years' experience driving a forklift
- Proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Technical training in area of responsibility
- Have the ability to work independently with little guidance
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Be able to perform job duties safely with a sense of urgency
- Have great attention to detail while working to a deadline
- Have a positive attitude, work well with others, and implement constructive criticism.
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift parts or sub‑assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs. occasionally
