Facilities Inventory Control Clerk (Contract, Onsite - NY

Facilities Inventory Associate - Rensselaer, NY

Duration: 12 months

Shift: Sunday – Wednesday, 2:00 pm – 12:30 am

• Support inventory database; perform inventory audits and record data.
• Receive inventory shipments, verifying them against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Ensure critical parts are available for emergencies.
• Research and request quotations; place orders from vendors for on-demand work.
• Perform customer service duties to ensure requests are timely and accurate.
• Perform cycle counts in all stock rooms and record data.
• Monitor parts issuing and receiving activities to meet compliance.
• Notify Inventory Management of observed inventory control issues and status.
• Maintain and monitor master list of locations of each part.
• Assist with general administrative functions (logging/filing of facilities‑related documents, preparing folders, general filing and/or copying).
• Run reports on part usage and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
• Maintain an orderly, debris‑free inventory stockroom and office space.
• Identify, communicate and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Experience in inventory management systems.
• Experience in warehouse management systems.
• Experience with Microsoft applications.
• Power industrial truck experience.
