The Hockey Coordinator will oversee the hockey events at Liberty First Credit Union Arena during the week and weekends. This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00–$16.00.

This position will remain open until August 28, 2026.

Located in Ralston, Nebraska, the Liberty First Credit Union Arena is home to the Omaha Beef football team and the Omaha Lancers hockey club. It is a versatile venue that offers a wide range of entertainment including sports, concerts, fairs, and conventions. The arena also offers a variety of skating to the community, such as tournaments, public sessions, and private rentals with a full‑size NHL sheet of ice located in the Community Rink.

• Oversee the nightly hockey events at Ralston Arena.
• Coach players and spectators.
• Answer questions.
• Collect payments for ice rentals as needed.
• Keep patrons out of restricted areas of the venue.
• Coordinate times, ice cleans, and special needs/requests with the Zamboni Driver.
• Lock up the building at the end of each night.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with hockey, sports teams, and/or events.
• Ability to interact with the public of all ages.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work evenings, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Knowledge/experience driving a Zamboni preferred but not required.
