Position Summary

School Social Worker servicing grades 6-12 at PACT Charter School in Ramsey, MN.

The Special Education School Social Worker provides social‑emotional and behavioral support to students with IEPs, including direct services, IEP goal development, assessments, short‑term counseling, crisis intervention, and connection of students and families to community resources. The role collaborates with teachers, administrators, and families, ensures compliance with Medicaid billing, adheres to district policies, maintains professionalism and confidentiality, and participates in ongoing professional development to support student success and well‑being.

• Provide direct social‑emotional and behavioral support to students with IEPs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and related assessments.
• Deliver short‑term counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid (MA) billing requirements.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to district policies.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.

• Must hold an MN Teacher’s license in the School Social Worker area.
• Experience working with students with IEPs and in a special education setting.
• Knowledge of Medicaid billing and crisis intervention skills.

• Salary commensurate with experience (minimum $41,000 to maximum $90,568 for 1.0 FTE).
