Special Education Paraprofessional – Secondary (PACT Charter School, Ramsey, MN)
Job
Position OverviewThis role supports teachers in providing instructional and behavioral assistance to students with special education needs in a general education setting.
- Instructional support and student contact during school hours (approximately 7:45 am to 3:15 pm).
- Assist with classroom activities, lesson implementation, and behavior management.
- Collaborate with special education teachers and general education staff.
- Participate in consults, progress monitoring, and data collection.
- Two years of higher education or an Associate’s degree (or higher) preferred, or completion of the state Paraprofessional Exam.
- Knowledge of instructional strategies and behavior support techniques.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexibly with before- and after-school responsibilities.
- Hours:
Approximately 7:45 am–3:15 pm on student contact days; may vary for before- and after-school duties. - Pay range: $18.00 to $36.40 per hour (Step/Lane) depending on qualifications.
