POSITION SUMMARY
The Night Guest Laundry Attendant (NGLA) maintains overnight services including front‑desk duties, laundry operations, phone handling and rigorous safety and security protocols.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES- Demonstrate 100% commitment to guest and associate experience.
- Assist guests overnight, managing check‑in/check‑out and payment collection per company procedures.
- Process all laundry items (linens, terry, blankets, covers, shower curtains) in compliance with standards, including stain treatment.
- Process all dishware (washing, drying, packaging) per company standards.
- Stock housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry rooms with appropriate products to maintain PAR levels; ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Handle reservations, registrations, payments and departures according to guidelines.
- Set up and maintain grab‑and‑go breakfast per brand standards.
- Conduct daily tours to inspect cleanliness, collect trash and identify maintenance needs.
- Comply with all company policies, promptly report safety/security issues, manage cash handling and key control.
- Assist in cleaning assigned hotel areas (front desk, breakroom, fitness, vending, stairwells, common areas).
- Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.

- California: $16.50 - $23.00
- Colorado: $16.00 - $19.00
- Illinois: $16.00 - $19.00
- Minnesota: $16.00 - $19.00
- New Jersey: $16.00 - $23.22
- Washington: $16.66 - $21.10
- Whitestone, NY: $19.17 - $20.52

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES- Proficient in English communication with guests and associates.
- Operate property management system technology; complete shift reports and audits as required.
- Read and follow safety, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Complete routine reports and correspondence.
- Perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Apply good judgment in all situations.
- Manage problems and solve guest‑related issues.
- Remain stationary and navigate the hotel, handling objects, tools, and controls.
- Bend and position self to access low areas.
- Lift and/or move laundry and dishes up to 25 pounds; push or pull carts up to 50 pounds.
- Traverse heights and remain stable while doing so.
- Work in outside weather conditions and wet humid conditions (non‑weather related) near moving mechanical parts or exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals with potential electrical shock.
- Work at moderate to loud noise levels.
- Travel to additional locations within reasonable geography if requested.
- High school diploma, GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The typical shift for this position is 11:00pm to 7:00am.
