Assistant General Manager

Essential Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Leadership experience in any form
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work a variety of shifts
Core Responsibilities
- Run daily operations of the center in the General Manager’s absence
- Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects
- Manage and assign team members to ensure customers receive excellent first impressions and high-quality service
- Install hitches, brake controllers, and perform other miscellaneous duties as needed
- Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University
Work Environment
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions such as protective clothing or gear (masks, goggles, gloves, shields). The job requires physical exertion, often long periods indoors and outdoors, standing, navigating spaces, and moving up to 50 lbs, either assisted or unassisted.

- Pay Range: $16.25 – $18.28 hourly
