Position: Composites Technician I

JOB DESCRIPTION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Finishing/Polishing flow surfaces of extrusion tooling materials from machined finishes consisting of tool steels, aluminum & plastic
  • Using combination of electric, pneumatic, and manual hand tools
  • ZTECH will train on finishing process for different types of components
  • Works closely with the Department Leads, Operations Manager, and Production Coordinator
  • Will also be involved with final tool assembly as needed
  • Carpentry skills for crafting finished product a plus
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area and the cleanliness of the machines or work areas as assigned.
  • Assist with overall area and facility housekeeping activities
  • Assist with maintenance and repair of equipment in your assigned area as needed and requested.
  • Working towards the achievement of defined personal goals established with management
  • Request resources and guidance as needed from management in the achievement of these goals.

These stated duties and responsibilities may change from time to time based on the ever changing needs of the organization, its customers, and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Proficient with the use of electric & pneumatic hand tools
  • Proficient with the use of carpentry tools, circular saw, miter saw, cordless impact/drill a plus
  • Must be able to lift/maneuver 60 lbs.
  • Is dependable and possesses a high level of integrity
  • Possesses strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Is a good communicator in both oral and written forms
  • Excels in a team environment and works well with others
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and enjoys the process
  • Is able to work in a fast‑paced, small company environment
  • Committed "go‑getter" that takes initiative, works and communicates well with others, earns the respect of others and shows others respect

$24.95 - $36.15
