We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble, test, and inspect precision rotary unions used in a wide range of industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands‑on work and takes pride in building high‑quality products in a modern, climate‑controlled manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble rotary unions and related products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures
- Perform functional testing, pressure testing, and final inspections to verify product performance and quality
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work orders
- Use hand tools, torque tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment safely and accurately
- Identify and report quality issues, damaged components, or assembly discrepancies
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Assist with troubleshooting assembly and test issues while working closely with engineering and production teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision mechanical components
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
- Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation
- Experience assembling hydraulic, pneumatic, or rotating mechanical equipment
- Familiarity with pressure testing, leak testing, and precision measuring instruments
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 or similar quality management system
- Forklift or overhead crane experience (or willingness to obtain certification)
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet production schedules
- Dependable work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
