Installation Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

- Excellent compensation ($25.00 - $32.00/hour, commensurate with experience)

Position Description Position SummaryThe Crane Installation Technician installs, assembles, and commissions crane systems according to engineering specifications and safety standards. This role involves mechanical work, electrical connections, troubleshooting, and working at heights.
Job Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes and related equipment at customer facilities.
- Diagnose mechanical problems with equipment in heavy industrial manufacturing facilities.
- Work as a team with other technicians and project engineers to perform major installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Install and assemble cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment at customer sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Perform mechanical assembly (bolting, aligning, rigging components).
- Assist with electrical wiring and control system setup.
- Conduct load testing and ensure proper crane operation.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years in an industrial environment or similar Military Experience.
- Skills and experience in welding, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Experience as an ironworker, millwright or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Travel Required.
- Eligible to work various shifts.
- Ability to work at customers facilities including the extreme elements indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to work from heights.
- Work in accordance with OSHA, CMAA, ANSI, ASME, AWS, and other applicable regulations.
