Guitar Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Guitar Teacher to provide high-quality private and group lessons in our retail store. In this role, you'll develop customized lesson plans, teach fundamental through intermediate guitar techniques, and prepare students for performances and recitals. You'll collaborate with store staff to support enrollment growth, maintain accurate schedules and student records, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group guitar lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to individual student goals and progress
• Teach fundamental through intermediate guitar techniques, music theory, and repertoire
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and assessments
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance, and student progress records
• Communicate regularly with students and parents about goals and progress
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and retention
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment in the store
