Woodwind Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Woodwind Teacher to provide private and small-group lessons in our retail store. You'll teach flute, clarinet, saxophone, and related instruments to students of varying ages and skill levels, focusing on technique, musicianship, and practice habits. Partner with parents, schools, and store staff to support student progress, recommend instruments and accessories, and assist with recitals. Responsibilities

• Provide private and small-group woodwind lessons for varied ages and skill levels
• Teach fundamentals of tone, technique, reading, and musicianship for flute, clarinet, saxophone, and related instruments
• Create individualized lesson plans and set goals to support steady student progress
• Communicate with parents and students about progress, practice expectations, and performance opportunities
• Collaborate with store staff to support recitals, events, and studio growth
• Advise students on appropriate instruments, accessories, and maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance, and basic student records
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and student-focused learning environment
