The Learning Experience
- Ramsey is looking for an energetic and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team.
Toddlers are busy discovering their independence, building language, making friends, and exploring everything around them. You'll help turn that natural curiosity into meaningful learning experiences while providing the structure and consistency young children need.
What You'll Do- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging Toddler classroom
- Implement age-appropriate activities and The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Engage children through art, music, movement, sensory play, and hands-on learning
- Encourage language development, independence, and positive social skills
- Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
- Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance
- Observe children’s development and support individual milestones
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Toddler, daycare, preschool, or childcare experience is a plus
- Patient, energetic, dependable, and nurturing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
- $17 per hour
- Full-time Monday-Friday schedule
