- QA manager position for an aerospace / defense electronics manufacturing company.
- Primary responsibilities will include:.
- Department Leadership - lead daily execution of quality and testing activities.
- QMS - Manage and maintain the AS910-certified shop floor practices.
- Auditing and Compliance - Lead internal audits focused on process effectiveness and prepare AS9100 audits.
- Inspection and testing - Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- EH&S - Lead EHS and ensure RCRA compliance.
- Continuous Improvements and Metrics - Lead various continuous improvement initiatives.
- Team Development - develop and maintain quality team members.
- BS degree in Engineering or equivalent. 7+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, aerospace / industry preferred.
- Experience in polymer manufacturing preferred.
- Experience in managing QMS, audits, MRB and corrective actions.
- Experience with FAI and qualifications processes.
- ASQ certification (CQE, CQM) preferred.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace requirements.
- Must be United States citizen.
