Overview
The Financial Analyst - Strategic & Market Pricing plays a critical role in supporting the development and execution of enterprise-wide pricing strategies across hardware, software, services, and solutions portfolios. This role supports Strategic Pricing leadership by delivering advanced financial modeling, market pricing insights, and data-driven recommendations that drive profitable growth. The analyst combines strong financial acumen with analytical capabilities to evaluate market pricing dynamics, channel strategies, and margin structures, partnering with Product Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Bid Desk teams.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate pricing strategies, cost structures, and profitability.
- Analyze margin performance and leakage drivers with recommended corrective actions.
- Evaluate market pricing trends, competitive positioning, and win/loss outcomes.
- Support deal pricing frameworks, discount structures, and channel pricing strategies.
- Build and maintain pricing dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Finance, and Sales to align pricing decisions.
- Support pricing tools, systems, and data integrity initiatives.
- Experience supporting pricing or product marketing teams
- Exposure to hardware, services, and recurring revenue models
- Familiarity with CPQ, Salesforce, or pricing software platforms
- Financial and analytical rigor

- Strong communication and data storytelling capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, pricing analytics, or revenue management
- Strong financial modeling, pricing analytics, and Excel skills
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Understanding of multi-channel sales models (direct and dealer)
