This is a full-time on-site role for a 5 Axis CNC Machinist located in Ramsey, NJ. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC machines and other related machinery to produce high-quality components. Day-to-day tasks will include setting up and calibrating machinery, running programs, performing regular maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Additionally, this role involves ensuring precision machining, inspecting finished parts for accuracy, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Machine Operation and Machining processes
- Experience with Milling and other CNC-related tasks
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices and techniques
- Familiarity with handling and maintaining Machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
- High school diploma or GED; relevant technical certifications or training are a plus
