Overview
Work Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site 9/80 (every other Friday off)
Position Type: Direct-Hire/Permanent
This role is crucial in ensuring the performance and reliability of products through rigorous testing and analysis. This position involves hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and processing documentation to meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct product testing using vibration and load/deflection techniques and equipment.
- Read, interpret, and execute Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs).
- Set up and maintain test fixturing and related equipment.
- Develop and validate new test methods and profiles for product qualification.
- Troubleshoot testing and control issues to ensure accurate, repeatable results.
- Compile detailed, accurate test result documentation in compliance with AS9100 standards.
- Maintain and calibrate Test Department gages, fixtures, and inventory.
- Train and mentor other staff on testing procedures and equipment use as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Test Department and company objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, OR Associate's/Technical degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in part testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to operate and troubleshoot test equipment.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation and cross-department collaboration.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (due to ITAR and export control regulations).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Availability for occasional overtime or shift adjustments based on project demands.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Knowledge of vibration analysis or materials testing methods.
- Experience with calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Comfortable working in a laboratory and manufacturing setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work with small components or tools.
