  • Partnering with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain on process improvements and issue resolution
  • Directly supervising and developing your production team—coaching performance, providing feedback, and building accountability
  • Driving continuous improvement through Lean tools, 5S, and root‑cause analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with quality systems (ISO 9001/13485) and internal standards
  • Serving as the key communication bridge between the floor and leadership
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; OR
  • Associate degree in a technical or business discipline; OR
  • High school diploma/equivalent with progressive manufacturing experience
Experience
  • Progressive manufacturing experience with a demonstrated track record in a supervisory or lead role
  • Background in CNC and manual machining environments (lathes, mills, Swiss‑type machines) strongly preferred
  • Background in medical device, aerospace and defense, automotive, or precision industrial manufacturing welcomed
Skills
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability and performance
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
  • Solid problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced, high‑mix environment
  • Clear communicator who can influence across all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (ISO 9001/13485)
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor or similar)
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement tools
  • Demonstrated ability to lead structured problem solving and root‑cause analysis
  • Experience driving cycle‑time reduction, scrap reduction, and efficiency improvements
  • Solid understanding of CNC machining setup principles and process troubleshooting
