Overview

Lead Generation, Outbound role responsible for creating new sales opportunities and qualifying leads through persistent customer contact via telephone, prospecting, social media, email, and other methods. Qualified leads are passed to sales agents for conversion into new customers.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate first contact to develop new relationships.
  • Schedule appointments with prospects for sales teams.
  • Sell or up‑sell key brands within Konica Minolta’s product and services portfolio.
  • Inform customers of promotional offerings and new items.
  • Proactively generate prospects through prospecting.
  • Maintain activity levels to meet metrics and goals.
  • Adhere to current sales methods and processes.
  • Capture, maintain, and distribute accurate new customer information.
  • Keep up to date on Konica Minolta business solutions, competitors, and customers.
  • Maintain CRM database and accurate call records.
  • Enrich contacts and personas in Salesforce.
  • Cleanse and respond to incoming leads from marketing campaigns.
  • Communicate with Manager regularly and meet daily sales and productivity goals.
  • Produce activity and other reports.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings.
  • Manage campaigns and target lists in Salesforce.
  • Act as first touch for prospective clients.
  • Meet a quota of at least 12 qualified and validated client appointments per month.
  • Generate qualified appointments through outbound prospecting into targeted organizations.
  • Nurture leads in the pipeline to coordinate handoffs between account executives and prospects.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred; high school diploma required.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Creative problem‑solver.
  • Adaptable and able to work well under pressure.
  • Strong active listening skills.
  • Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented with high accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with good telephone etiquette.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, prioritizing, and follow‑up skills with ability to work independently.
  • Motivated, dependable, and willing to work overtime when needed.
  • Strong team player.
