You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter incidents, respond to alarms and access control activity, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech and telecommunications location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by post assignment.

+ Monitor access points and visitor flow, verifying authorization, issuing temporary credentials when directed, and assisting with delivery and service vendor check-in per site procedures.

+ Perform routine security-related checks of doors, gates, and key equipment areas, reporting maintenance concerns and/or unusual conditions through established communication and reporting channels.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have 1+ years of security-related experience.

+ Be 21+ years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
