- About Branch Banking With branches spread across the country, the branches act as the face of Axis Bank for millions of retail customers and is, hence, an integral part of the Banks strategy. Branches play a major role in deposit mobilization from New-To-Bank (NTB) customers, and are also core drivers of the Banks customer engagement strategy across products and services.
About the
Role The Circle Business and Planning manager assists the circle head in achieving the business targets of the circle. The job holder is responsible for creating enablers for the branch resources to attain their business targets. The Circle Business and Planning manager also ensures optimum branch and resource productivity apart from managing the rural branch business of the circle.
Key Responsibilities
Establish budgets and targets and provide guidance to the Branch resources in preparing business plans for their respective areas
Review and monitor performance of the Branches for ensuring achievement of all targets, productivity, quality and compliance standards.
Plan and ensure implementation of Branch expansion plans, upgradation of extension counters/ Branches and Points of Service, in line with the growth plans of the Bank.
Ensure rural branch objectives and targets are achieved successfully
Ensure creation and successful execution of campaigns and initiatives
Ensure branch resource activation through contests, broadcasts and campaigns
Attain optimum resource productivity by identifying deficiencies and providing guidance and training for branch resources
Liaison with various business unit heads in the circle for efficient service delivery
Review and ensure compliance of all processes according to banks policies
Qualifications
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
Graduation/ Post-Graduation from a recognized institute
5-10 years of experience in the BFSI sector
Role Proficiencies:

Knowledge of industry, technology, marketing, and product trends
Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms
Good communication (both verbal and written) skill
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment
Ability to coach and mentor others
