Business Analyst, Consultant

Your Role

The Individual & Family Plans team manages the sales, distribution and performance for one of Blue Shield's largest lines of business - providing health insurance for individuals who do not get coverage from an employer sponsored health plan, Medi-Cal or Medicare. The IFP Growth Business Analysis Consultant will report to the IFP Growth & Strategy Leadership Team. In this role you will be responsible for managing the sales performance analytics to help us understand & improve our growth strategies.

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
• Understanding of direct-to-consumer sales / marketing methodologies, KPIs and measurement best practices (health insurance related preferred)
• Proficient data analysis skills - including practical experience with tools such as Business Objects / SAS / SQL / BI as querying tools / Visual Basic for Applications, Python
• Experience deploying technologies and tools to support relevant sales process automation & analysis - such as Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce and/or Share Point
• Proficient in industry standard reporting tools such as Crystal Reporting and/or Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development
