Position: Workplace Experience Construction Manager
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $56.48hr - $61.48hr Requirement/Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related field. 10-12 years of commercial construction project management experience. Demonstrated experience managing workplace, corporate office, lab, or industrial construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with budgets ranging from small improvements to large capital investments. Knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, ADA requirements, and workplace safety standards.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end management of workplace construction and renovation projects from concept through occupancy. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource planning. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout project life cycles. Oversee tenant improvements (TI), office renovations, workplace modernization initiatives, and infrastructure upgrades. Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and corporate standards.

Strategic planning of office and labs across multiple locations including Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, San Jose, and Longmont. Manage contractor selection, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and project execution. Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve project issues proactively. Track project budgets, approve invoices, manage change orders, and provide financial reporting. Partner with Facilities, IT, Security, EHS, HR, and business leaders to ensure successful project delivery.

Develop and maintain project documentation, schedules, status reports, and executive presentations. Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranty management, and lessons learned. Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, standards, and workplace delivery practices. Manage and oversee the bidding process. Manage general contractors and track deadlines. Act as an individual contributor responsible for own project workload. Nice to Have: PMP, CCM, LEED, or related professional certification.

Experience working within technology, manufacturing, semiconductor, or corporate campus environments. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, MS Project, Box or similar project management tools.

Experience with workplace strategy, occupancy planning, and team member experience initiatives.
