This is a privately owned, newly built hospital backed by an established local ownership group that has successfully operated multiple practices in the Sacramento area for decades. It is not corporate run. There are no production quotas, no negative accrual, and no pressure to practice a certain way to hit numbers. You are trusted to make medical decisions based on what is right for the patient.
The hospital is newly constructed and built for practical workflow. Clean, modern design, open treatment space, and equipment positioned where you actually need it. Digital radiographs are reviewed by a radiologist. A board-certified surgeon handles orthopedic and soft tissue procedures. A cardiologist performs echocardiograms. A mobile internal medicine specialist provides endoscopy, bronchoscopy, laparoscopy, and ultrasound. You can work cases up properly and keep continuity instead of referring everything out.
Appointments are scheduled in a way that allows you to think, not rush. You can follow your cases, call your own rechecks, and build real client relationships. New graduates are supported through a structured four-month mentorship with experienced DVMs who are available for true case discussion. Experienced veterinarians will find autonomy with specialist backup when
needed.
This is a steady, well-supported environment where you can practice solid medicine, maintain a predictable schedule, and still have a life outside of work.
