Responsibilities- Prepare detailed layouts and drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies using 2D and 3D software.
- Support larger projects involving product structuring and documentation.
- Check drawings for compliance with internal and industry standards.
- Become proficient in software tools such as Solid Works, Inventor, PDM, Vault, Altium, PADs, and Master Control.
- Facilitate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and incorporate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Prepare drawings from rough sketches or general instructions and maintain revision control.
- Operate plotters, printers, and scanners to produce hard‑copy drawings.
- Interface effectively with engineers, program managers, and staff at all levels.
- 5–10 years of experience in drafting, design, or related technical field (required).
- AS degree in Drafting, Design, or similar (preferred).
- Senior‑level experience with Solid Works, Inventor, or equivalent (required).
- Knowledge of mechanical drafting/modeling, dimensioning, and GD&T tolerancing (required).
- Altium/board layout experience (advantage).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required).

Salary Range: $44,500.00–$59,300.00. The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
