Electronics Repair Technician

As an Electronics Repair Technician, you play a critical role in maintaining and restoring advanced electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems that support high-performance equipment used in aerospace, defense, and industrial applications. You will leverage your diagnostic expertise and hands-on repair experience to troubleshoot complex issues, perform component-level repairs, and ensure equipment is returned to full functionality. Your contributions help drive operational efficiency and uphold a high standard of technical excellence across the organization.

What

You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair advanced electronic equipment down to the component level
  • Service mechanical and electromechanical systems, including variable transformers, pumps, laser welders, and environmental chambers
  • Safely diagnose and repair high-voltage power supplies and associated test equipment
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation across digital, analog, and logic circuitry
  • Disassemble, rebuild, and reassemble complex mechanical and electronic assemblies
  • Apply analytical problem-solving skills to resolve non-standard electrical and mechanical issues
  • Accurately document repair activity, parts usage, and diagnostic findings in internal systems
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to support continuous improvement in repair processes
What You Need

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions
  • Working knowledge of basic math for diagnostics and calculations
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, database systems, and general systems navigation
  • Experience working with RF equipment and high-voltage systems preferred

Experience & Education

  • Technical associate degree or equivalent military training – required
  • 2–5 years of related electronics repair experience – required

Salary Range:

$39,000.00-$52,000.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
