In this role, you will lead engineering and design of HVAC and plumbing systems for data centers.

• Design and construction activities, including project delivery methods such as traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid-Build
• Design HVAC and plumbing systems for primarily Hyper Scale and colocation data center designs associated with administrative and support spaces
• Support additional areas such as Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, Workshop, Laboratory, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical Distribution Center, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, Pump Areas, Engine Generator, Blowers/Air Compressors, and Flammable & Combustible Liquids Storage
• Conduct Data Center airflow CFD modeling for interior and exterior spaces
• Conduct energy audit / efficiency studies, code review / application, and sustainable design / LEED application of sustainable strategies
• Develop engineering skills while working on challenging projects

The Mechanical Buildings Design Group provides HVAC and plumbing solutions across our markets. From community improvements to large-scale projects, you will contribute to infrastructure growth while developing professionally.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience in Data Center / Mission Critical Design
• Experience with construction support
• Understanding of design differences in Hyper-scale, edge and colocation data centers
• Familiarity with Data Center tier rating systems
• Strong knowledge in Autodesk Revit
• Data Center airflow CFD modeling experience for internal and external evaluations
• Computer-generated HVAC cooling and heating load calculations and HVAC equipment sizing
• HVAC system energy modeling and energy code knowledge
• Green building initiatives such as LEED
• Technical submittal reviewing process and bid reviewing process for large-scale water and air cooled chiller plants
• International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes, ASHRAE Handbooks / Standards, ASPE design handbooks, and SMACNA Standards
• NFPA Standards
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
• Cadence Reality Data Center Design (Formerly 6

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited program in the applicant’s home country or the country of practice, or equivalent experience in engineering work
• Minimum five years related work experience
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records search in compliance with applicable laws
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support Engineer of Record requirements for BV projects where applicable

• Typical office environment; prolonged periods of sitting and computer use; ability to maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the day
