Director of Electrical Engineering Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level management and strategic oversight of the electrical engineering function, including staffing, development, and resource planning.
• Develop overall project assignment strategies, balancing workload and project complexity across the team.
• Identify and address gaps in coverage, capability, or processes, resolving technical disputes with sound judgment.
• Review large, high-risk projects at an executive level, ensuring design integrity for cost and safety.
• Own and validate the accuracy of engineering data, including drawings, BOMs, and project records.

Director of Electrical Engineering

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Over 8 years of progressive electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Prior leadership or management experience overseeing electrical teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards such as NEC, UL, ANSI, IEEE.
• Proven experience developing or improving engineering processes, standards, and data management practices.
