A leading manufacturing company is hiring a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. Location requirements are not specified.

is full-time. This role involves providing engineering leadership in power distribution product development and supporting manufacturing processes.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:- Lead the development of power distribution products from concept through detailed design, ensuring manufacturability and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the mechanical design team, promoting best practices and standards.
- Review engineering drawings and design documentation for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve design issues, support continuous improvement, and optimize production.
- Ensure designs meet UL 891, UL 50, and UL 50E standards, applying relevant safety and construction requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in design and manufacturing within an industrial environment.
- Proficiency with Solid Works CAD software.
- Experience working with UL 891 and UL 50 product standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, automation, and design for manufacturing (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
