A leading company specializes in power distribution products is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer (R&D) to support a remote team. This full-time role involves leading electrical design initiatives for new product development.

Senior Electrical Engineer (R&D) Responsibilities:- Oversee the electrical design and development of power and control systems for new products, from initial concept to manufacturing.
- Create detailed electrical specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate with testing labs to define certification scope, develop test plans, and evaluate outcomes for product qualification.
- Support testing activities, analyze results, and iterate designs to improve performance and compliance.
- Serve as the primary technical contact during manufacturing and testing phases, providing troubleshooting and technical guidance.
Qualifications:
- BSEE or equivalent experience; master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years in designing low and/or medium voltage power distribution equipment or related products.
- Experience with NRTL evaluation, testing, and certification processes.
- Familiarity with electrical standards such as UL 891, 1558, 508A, IEEE/ANSI C37.20.2, C37.04, C37.06, C37.09, CSA C22.2, NFPA 70E.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar tools for electrical diagram creation.
